EPICT Profile

The European Pedagogical ICT Licence is a comprehensive, international, in-service CPD programme for teachers. The Licence enables school staff to receive recognition for their efforts with technology.

EPICT focuses on:

• The integration of technology within learning
• Pedagogy and ICT
• The planning and sharing of good practice
• School development and improvement

Teachers can progress through EPICT modules at their own pace supported by a trained EPICT Facilitator often from their own school or Local Authority. Three main levels of award are possible:-

To reflect the importance of this area, EPICT in partnership with the Training and Development Agency for Schools (TDA) have developed the EPICT ESafety Awareness Certificate for Education Professionals.

All modules have a notional length of 15 hours.
